Support on the phone has been slow but when ever I've used email support, most of my issues have been fixed within hours. The site has only been down once in nearly 3 years of use. They offer a great package for the price in terms of space, monthly data transfer and features. Speed is good and, according to my some remote measure sites, their uptime never fell beneath 99% throughout the 2 years my site was up with them.

IPowerWeb is a big hosting company. I signed up their 1 year hosting package to get a free domain. Their customer service is not really that good, because it takes them a long time to reply and it isn't always the answer I wanted. The longest downtime I had was for 2 hours, other time it is like can't connect then back to normal. I heard they cramed a lot of members on one server, causing the server to overload once a while. This web hosting company isn't what I think it is at first when I registered. Overall I would not suggest this host to anyone except you like their professional looking website.

Their customer service and tech support is awesome. After an initial misfire, I called them on the landline phone - response was immediate and successful. What more can I say? I am more than pleased with the response, to say the least. It took a matter of minutes to resolve my issues and their followup was superb

I recommend iPowerWeb to anyone looking for a good, decent hosting service.
I just renewed for my second year with ipowerweb. Their services and pricing are excellent. Although their support can sometimes be a bit slow they are very knowlegeable and will fix your problem. So far in all my time hosting with iPowerWeb, I have never seen my site's server down for more than 5-10 minutes (very rarely). The only fallback of iPowerWeb is that you cant send more than 300 emails per hour using their e-mail system. They told me this was to stop people spamming. However I have a newsletter and it takes a couple of hours for all the e-mails to go out.

They have a great package, great features, and a great new control panel (vDeck). Their support staff is just OK, I was on hold for 45 MIN waiting to talk to someone, 2 times, and never got a hold of someone. Their email support staff needs to be trained a little be more and needs to be slightly more polite. One thing I think they could have is an Instant Support like thing where users can go into it, and connect with a support staff member in a web-based chat like an Instant Messenger.

A good host overall however if you manage a mailing list on your website which consists of over 300 subscribers you will have a problem.
Their settings do not allow you to send an e-mail to more than 300 people in 1 hour. This caused a problem for me as I have 2200 people subscribed to my mailing list and I could only send the e-mail to 300 people in an hour.
Otherwise a very well priced host.

When I moved 2 IPowerWeb it was a total change in price, techsupport, space and mailboxes. I could not be more pleased. Love the cpanel, verdict still out on vdeck. I opened a new hosting account last week, Ipower was able to register the new domain name as soon as it was released. I also had a somewhat complicated move to do. I sent in an email request. BAMM done. Only one suggestion: ipowerweb.com homepage is somewhat vague. Direct changes to account can be confusing. A more helpful interface for clients would be nice.
