midPhase is a great hosting company that provides excellent hosting packages. They have fantastic uptime! It is a steal to get hosting this cheap, with such great features, in a great datacenter. They have their servers at Equinix, the same datacenters that eBay, Sony, and other major companies use. Their customer support is not the best, but it usually gets the problem solved. The tech support people do not speak proper English, so it often takes a while to understand them. I would definitely recommend midPhase to anyone – all of my clients use it!

Not happy with them at all, after ordering I was surprised to see an extra fee which was for the setup (not that uncommon, but if it was there during the signup process it 4 sure was in a very small font size) I'm not the first one that encountered this.
I needed to get my site up and running as soon as possible. However I waited "more" then a week to get assigned a dedicated IP. In the mean time the server had issues which wasn't that bad since I wasn't able to use it. To make a long story short I decided to cancel my account and get a refund. That on the other hand was even worse. It took ages to get a reply and they just kept me on the line. Needless to say I never got a refund. If they had a valid reason I wouldn't even be writing this but I will not recommend this service to anyone.
While prices may seem competitive there are other things you should look out for.
